Abstract
This presentation will provide a general overview of my PhD project and an update on its current status. During my first year as a PhD student, I am working on my first paper, a quantitative, survey-based study investigating online dating burnout and its surrounding factors. My second paper will be based on a qualitative, interview-based study exploring the online dating customer journey, focusing on the motivations behind users taking breaks and re-engaging with the platform. My third paper will examine the use of artificial intelligence in online dating from a consumer perspective, with the specific focus yet to be determined. Together, these studies aim to contribute to a comprehensive understanding of the consumer experience in online dating. Beyond my research, I am engaged in various academic activities, including teaching, supervision, and volunteering in PhD associations.
Everyone is welcome!
