New PhD student at MGMT - Yu Peng

Hi, my name is Yu Peng (you can also call me Yuri), and I come from China.
I completed a double Master’s degree at Copenhagen Business School and the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. During this time, I had the chance to experience Danish culture, make many Danish friends, and take courses from professors at Aarhus University, which introduced me to BSS.

My main research interest is government digitalization. I am curious about whether digitalization can build stronger trust between citizens and the government, make interactions between businesses and the state more efficient, and how it might affect disadvantaged groups.

I grew up in a city along the Yangtze River in southern China, surrounded by mountains. That’s why Denmark’s flat landscapes and Aarhus as a coastal city are especially appealing to me. Outside of my academic work, I enjoy playing badminton and photography. I love taking my camera on hikes to capture both cultural moments and the beauty of nature.
