New PhD student at MGMT - Kasper Krongaard

Hi everyone!

My name is Kasper, and I'm excited to have started as a PhD student here at the Department. I'll be part of the ODA section, supervised by Mai Skjøtt Linneberg and Jessica Aschemann-Witzel.

I'm Danish and did both my degrees here at Aarhus BSS: a Bachelor's in Business Administration, and more recently a Master's in Innovation Management, which I finished in June. Somewhere along the way I came to appreciate how innovation fits into a broader system, and how this complexity gets translated throughout industries. That's what led me on this journey of pursuing a PhD.

My research sits at the intersection of innovation and sustainability, looking at how sustainable startups and incumbents interact as collaborators, competitors, or both. Understanding this dynamic and tying it to the bigger picture of the sustainable transition of industries is what my work is all about. 

Other than work, I enjoy staying active through football, badminton, tennis, hiking, disc golf, working out, and more.

I also recently picked up fishing, but I have yet to catch anything.
