New PhD student at MGMT - Rasmus Dahl

Hi!
My name is Rasmus Dahl. I am one of the new PhD students, as I joined the department at the start of September 2024. Both my bachelor’s degree and master’s degree are from Aarhus BSS. The bachelor’s degree is in Economics and Business Administration (HA) and the master’s degree is in Auditing and Economics (Cand.merc.aud).

In keeping with my master’s degree, my overall research interests are set around auditing and economics. In more detail, I want to examine the implications and perceptions of restatements of financial information. Besides, I also expect to do research on the register-data from Denmark, especially pertaining to auditors. I have teamed up with Claus Holm and Nikolaj Niebuhr Lambertsen, who respectively will supervise and co-supervise me.

To shortly give you all some personal insight, I am local to Aarhus and love the city. I enjoy sports and being active in general, so I spend a considerable amount of time on such activities. Otherwise, I am quite fond of leisure time among friends and family or by travelling.
