MGMT Awards

This year's MGMT awards went to Kathrine Stampe, Christiane Høvring, Lise Stickel, Pernille Kallehave, Sonja Perkovic and Dorthe Døjbak Håkonsson

This year a total of five awards were given out at the summer party in June. The traditional three awards from the Departmental Council and two research awards from the MGMT Research Committee.
And the awards went to:

Teacher of the year 2022-2023: Kathrine Stampe and Christiane Høvring
Kathrine Stampe and Christiane Høvring shared the teacher of the year award.
Kathrine has received wildest evaluations to date, breaking the scale with 5.0 on personal skills. The students love her as a lecturer, she is a perfect teacher, so accomplished. All the rest of us should take a course with her.
Christiane shows a lot of leadership, giving birth to one programme (DIGI) and helping another die (midwife and undertaker at the same time). She shows great dedication and care for her teaching team as a junior scholar (assistant professor).

PhD student of the year 2022-2023: Lisa Stickel
Lisa Stickel received the award because she makes a great impact on the PhD community. Apart from the writing retreats (research productivity and informal getting to know each other), she organises brown bag meetings and fosters a sense of solidarity (social events, bringing colleagues together). She always greets you with a warm smile and words of encouragement, and has a genuine and compassionate nature.

Colleague of the year 2022-2023: Pernille Kallehave
Pernille Kallehave was awarded colleague of the year because bumping into Pernille is like bumping into a smiling ray of sunshine. At MGMT she makes connections between the invisible networks, doing what she can to facilitate the work of researchers - even giving us green plants. She takes a load of our shoulders related to assisting us with educations, and not least the GDPR issues and our relationship with the TTO.

MGMT junior research award 2022-23: Sonja Perkovic
The MGMT junior research award was presented to Sonja for her published work in among other; Journal of Experimental Psychology: Applied and Psychological Science. These papers highlight her interest in decision-making and behavioural science. Also noteworthy is that Sonja recently obtained a grant from The Danish Research Council (DFF).

MGMT senior research award 2022-23: Dorthe Døjbak Håkonsson
The MGMT senior research award was given to Dorthe in recognition of her work. It was awarded for Dorthe’s continuous improvement in publication efforts and thus her contribution to the literature on organizational design. Particularly noteworthy are recent papers published in Organization Science and Strategic Management Journal. Also, Dorthe has successfully edited the Journal of Organization Design for a number of years as well as obtained a grant from the Danish Research Council (DFF).

Congratulations to all our award recipients!
