Mathilde Tønnesen - now assistant professor
Mathilde Tønnesen has been appointed assistant professor from 1 June.
Mathilde's research centres on the behavioural foundations of management accounting, with a particular focus on the darker side of organisational behaviour, including fraud, wrongdoing, and unethical decision-making. She examines how management control mechanisms — such as incentive schemes, monitoring structures, hierarchical decision-making, and managerial role-modeling — interact with psychological processes to either facilitate or diminish unethical behaviour in organisations.
Congratulations to Mathilde - we look forward to her continued contributions to research and teaching at MGMT, ODA and the Center for Accounting.
