Four new assistant professors at MGMT
Jerry Guo, Tünde Cserpes, Sonja Perkovic and Mirja Hubert become assistant professors from July and August 2020
We are happy to announce that the following have been appointed assistant professor at MGMT:
Jerry Guo will join the OSA section in July. Jerry has obtained a PhD from Carnegie Mellon University (Tepper School of Business). Jerry’s research interests lie within organisational behaviour with a specific emphasis on routines and knowledge.
Tünde Cserpes becomes assistant professor in the ITIM section in August. Tünde received her PhD from the University of Illinois in Chicago. Her research interests involve competitive strategy, entrepreneurship, intermediaries, and spatial competition. She is currently working on a project on entrepreneurship and inequality.
Sonja Perkovic will start in the Marketing section in August. In her research, Sonja focuses on decision-making processes and tries to answer how cognitive biases in different fields emerge (e.g., ethical decision making, food decision making). To study these processes, she has done experimental research combined with computational modelling and eye-tracking technology.
Mirja Hubert will start in the Marketing section in August. Her research focus is on consumer behaviour, consumer neuroscience, and digital marketing. She is associated with the “Digitalization and Computational Thinking in Education” project with Andrea Carugati, in which she focuses on digital competences and future digital work profiles within companies.
