Stina Rydell Brøgger receives ICA 2024 W. Charles Redding Dissertation Award
Former MGMT PhD student Stina Rydell Brøgger has received the W. Charles Redding Dissertation Award at the highly prestigious International Communication Conference, ICA, in June 2024 for her dissertation entitled “’I fear, we are creating an organization for the people that speak loudest’ – a communicative study of the inclusion of introverted employees” supervised by Birte Asmuß and Jakob Lauring. The price is awarded for an outstanding dissertation that advances our understanding of organizing and communicating, and that makes a difference in the lives of organizational members. This is exactly what Stina’s dissertation does by providing novel insights to the field of personality diversity and inclusion management by showing that inclusive behaviors equally contain the potential to include and exclude groups of employees.
Stina joined us after her PhD as research assistant, and she will start as a postdoc at University of Twente in the Netherlands in October 2024. We wish her the best of luck and hope to stay in touch.
