The accounting and auditing group from ECON has joined the management accounting unit at MGMT 1 February
Professor Claus Holm
Claus is a professor in financial accounting and auditing. His recent research centres on the role and function of auditors. Claus teaches several courses relating to accounting theory and auditing and has held several administrative roles in the accounting and auditing group.
Professor Frank Thinggaard
Frank is a professor of financial accounting. In his most recent research, he has used sensitive register data to investigate whether psychological distress among auditors affects audit quality. Among his teaching interests is international and Danish Financial Accounting Regulation. Frank is the Study Director of cand.merc.aud.
Associate Professor Karina Skovvang Christensen
Karina is an associate professor of management accounting. Her recent research has focused on performance funding in Danish schools and different aspects of control and costing in local governments. Among other things, Karina teaches management accounting. She has served as union representative at the Department of Economics and Business Economics.
Associate Professor Finn Schøler
Finn is an associate professor of financial accounting. In his most recent research, he has taken cross-cultural perspectives to study the value relevance of intangibles and accuracy of valuation by multiples using comparables. Finn primarily teaches financial accounting, but he has also taught a course in management accounting and has been the teaching coordinator for several courses in accounting at the Department of Economics and Business Economics.
Teaching Associate Professor Thomas Krog
Thomas is a teaching associate professor. He teaches a host of topics relating to financial accounting, financial analysis, and valuation. He is a dedicated supervisor of student theses.
Assistant Professor Nikolaj Niebuhr Lambertsen
Nikolaj is an assistant professor with a focus on financial accounting and behavioural economics. Nikolaj uses behavioural theories to study topics such as loss aversion in financial accounting, manipulation, and reporting bias. Nikolaj teaches financial accounting.
PhD Student Sam Damsgaard Enemark
Sam is a PhD student and is currently on his research stay abroad at London School of Economics.
