Websites

Guidelines for project websites
As a rule, MGMT does not provide websites for research projects. However, if required by an external funder, and funds are allocated in the budget, a static page may be set up for a project. Subpages are only created if they are vital for the implementation of the project. The cost of setting up a website is assessed individually for each project.

MGMT can offer an overview page listing active projects where the project titles link to external project sites or the like provided by the project owners. Once they expire, projects are to be removed from the list.

Please note:

  • Existing project pages will not be updated with new content.
  • A project page must be discontinued when the project ends.
  • Project websites are not to be used as archives. Project owners are responsible for notifying web editors when a project concludes.

In exceptional cases, if permission is granted to create or update a static project page, it is the responsibility of the project owner or centre to carry out the work. The Communications dept. and MGMT editors are not to allocate resources to this. All new pages require prior approval from the Head of Department.

If a project manager wishes to update pages themselves (buy external help), this only applies to updating existing content and not to creating new subpages.

Guidelines for research group and network websites
MGMT does not provide websites for research groups or networks. However, if required by an external funder, a static page can be created at mgmt.au.dk, subject to prior approval from the Head of Department.

A research group or network website does not get member or publication lists or any other features requiring regular updates.
