This year's MGMT awards go to Charlotte Rosholm, Annamaria Kubovcikova and Sebastian Gram Nguyen Rasmussen

Sebastian Gram Nguyen Rasmussen

At the New Year’s Reception on 16 January, it was once again time to recognise some of our colleagues for their outstanding work and contribution to the department. This year we presented the following three awards:

  • Colleague of the year
  • Teacher of the year
  • PhD student of the year

A committee consisting of members from the Department Council had evaluated all nominations received. At the reception, Helle Alsted Søndergaard presented the awards.

MGMT Colleague of the Year
Charlotte Rosholm received the award for being ‘the glue that holds the marketing section together’.
Charlotte was nominated because she is always supportive and extremely patient. When colleagues come with the same questions over and over again she stays friendly and calm and always finds time to fix their problems. Secondly, whenever possible, she takes the time for small talk and listens between the lines, caring about people - also offering help beyond her responsibilities.

MGMT Teacher of the Year
Annamaria Kubovcikova received the award because she has made ‘a quant turnaround’.
Annamaria has reacted with great stamina and courage to negative evaluations – and gone all-in to work towards improving the methods course, with great success, choosing to develop targeted video films and fine-tuning the content to students’ needs. Her ideas and creativity in finding the best solution for our students deserves great acknowledgement. She has dug in and done a lot of work to improve her teaching methods, and this is now reflected in very positive evaluations from her students.

MGMT PhD Student of the Year
The award for the MGMT PhD student of the year went to Sebastian Gram Nguyen Rasmussen because he is a great representative for Aarhus BSS and always helpful.
Sebastian is super engaged in all of his colleagues and always wants to make a difference. Sebastian is always ready to help – with anything! He is kind, treats people well, and spreads joy with his laughter and smiles. His initiative on ‘bringing MGMT to social media’ is a good example of how he is trying to promote our department and BSS.

Congratulations to Charlotte, Annamaria and Sebastian!
