John Howells is an invited speaker in a public panel discussion entitled

Do Patents have a Chilling Effect on the Incentives for Research and Development?”  

John will present a synopsis of his work on allegations that patents block development. The event is hosted by UCL and sponsored by UCL Institute of Brand and Innovation Law and the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys. It takes place at UCL, London, on 16 November at 18:00 – 19:30.
